I love these cute cards made using the new Cherry-O kit! I made these the other night in preparation for my June "Double" workshop on the 26th. My favorite is the one in front using tulip red brads as cherries in the bowl! It just makes me smile :)
Life is like....you know the rest! Here is the adorable stamp set that comes in the Cherry-O kit. You can only get this stamp set in the kit and the kit is only available until August 31st!!
The kit is such a great deal because it includes a full Level 2 Paper Packet (which is 12 sheets of patterned paper and 10 sheets of cardstock). My photo above shows some of the paper you get. In addition to the paper and the stamp set, you also get a pack of Tulip red embellishments: buttons, ribbon, brads and metal tags. I think these kits make great gifts too because everything coordinates and there is also an instruction booklet that walks you through step-by-step to complete cards and scrapbook layouts! It's like an all-inclusive scrapbook workshop in a bag!

What a Mess!!
Sometimes I look at my craft room and I can't believe what a mess it is! How can I be creative in this mess? So my goal for the month of May is to get it cleaned up & cleaned out! I have too much stuff in such a small space! I recently got some of the Store In Style storage cubes, but I have yet to put anything in them! So I'm posting these photos in hope that it will motivate me to get this mess under control, so that I can then post some "after" pictures :) Here's hoping I can do it!

Simply "Irresistible"!
While putting together the Miracle scrapbook kit, I fell in love with two of CTMH's new products. One is the Flip Flaps Memory Protectors. I ordered some of these a while back, and they are still sitting on my desk! A few come in the Miracle kit, so I followed the directions and was amazed at how easy they were to use! I love that in the space of just one 4 x 6 photo, I was able to get 3 photos! (see my page above). How great! You can bet I'll be using up that package on my desk in short order!
The two 4 x 6 photos on the right hand page above are in Flip Flaps. When you lift them up, there are 4 more photos to see! That's 7 photos on the 2 page layout!
The other new product that I fell in love with are the "Irresistibles". These are die-cut chipboard shapes that are printed with a resist pattern on them. The white butterfly shape above is how it looks before. Then using a sponge and whatever color ink pad you want, you sponge on the color and watch the resist pattern really show up. It's a lot of fun and a great way to customize the chipboard according to your photos or papers!
After sponging the Irresistible butterfly brown, I added a blue Stickease butterfly to the top using pop-dots for dimension. Then I added Bitty Sparkles to bling up my butterfly!
For these accents, I sponged one Irresistible with Crystal Blue ink and the other with Chocolate, then threaded a button with waxy flax and put it all together. This kit was fun & easy to put together and I loved trying out the new products that I've never used before. Join me on May 14th for my Miracle workshop and you'll get to play around with these products too!
