$5 "Hope for Japan" Stamp Set

Close to My Heart just announced a special campaign:

"The earthquake and tsunami in Japan caused untold devastation and heartache. Like so many of you, we’re eager to help. Help us raise money for the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund. The stamp set pictured above is called "Hope for Japan".  From now until April 30 you can purchase the exclusive A-size stamp set for the special price of only $5 (US) and Close To My Heart will donate 100% of the profits to the American Red Cross efforts in Japan. This beautifully designed stamp set reminds us of how our hearts are hopeful for those who are in need."

Let me know if you are interested in purchasing one (or more!) of these stamps sets. I will be placing an order on Monday, March 28th, so I could include it on that order.  I'll also be posting information soon on my next two workshops, one in May & one in June.  These will be my last workshops for the summer, as July & August are just too busy around here!

March Stamp of the Month & Blog Hop

The March Stamp of the Month (pictured above) has some cute little bunnies, which remind me of Peter Cottontail.  We had two house rabbits bouncing around our home several years back, so bunnies are dear to my heart :)  I particularly love the two little bunnies holding the carrots - so very cute!

Hop, hop, hop down the bunny trail by following this month's blog hop to see some creative uses for this stamp set.  Click HERE to get hopping....

Crafters Corner at JBF!

Last night I was excited to learn to that there will be a Crafters Corner at the upcoming Just Between Friends (JBF) consignment sale at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds March 3 - 6th.  What does this mean & why am I excited about it?  There will be a section for crafting items, such as scrapbooking, stamping, and quilting items, for sale.  Consignors will be selling off their excess crafting supplies at great prices!  I am going to be consigning quite a bit of kids clothing & gear (purging all the baby stuff that is no longer needed around here).  When I read that I could also sell crafting supplies, I was thrilled!  I have a box of excess supplies that I haven't known what to do with.  So I'll be including them in the sale!

Do you have excess supplies that you would like to sell?  Are you interested in shopping the sale?  If you answered yes to either, click HERE to find out more!

The New Catalog is Live!

The brand new Spring/Summer Idea Book is available to order from starting today!!  There are some great new stamps and paper collections available.  Peruse it online, or contact me for a copy you can flip your crafty little hands through :)

In addition to a new catalog, February 1st also brings a new stamp of the month, as shown above.  If you are a blog hop junkie (like me), you'll be able to follow the Stamp of the Month blog hop by clicking HERE.

February has always been my favorite month of the year - I don't know if it's because I was born in February, or because I love the color pink and you see a lot of pink this month.  Or maybe it's because I'm a chocoholic - and if you had to pick a month where chocolate was abundantly available - wouldn't it be February?  Today finds the sun shining on our relatively healthy home, so that's reason enough to love February - well February 1st anyway!

Cards from the workshop last night!

We had a fun workshop last night, making cards and scrapbook pages!  We used the Find Your Style stamp set, which is only available for a few more days! It's the January Stamp of the Month, and I really love it!  I promised to post the pictures of the cards, so here they are!

The circle card above has a butterfly that looks like it just gently landed on the card! A couple of sparkles give it just a hint of bling!
We used the stamp set from the Wings Workshop Kit to make the pink damask background for this card.  Adding a tiny pink bow to the shoe gives it a bit of dimension.
And the third card is straight from the Inspirations catalog.  All 3 cards would be great for many different occasions, but will we be able to part with them?
