December's "Grace"ful Card Workshop

I can't even believe that December is less than a week away! So take out your tattered pocket calendar and mark Friday, December 11th with a note about making cards! Just wanted to post a reminder along with a re-cap of my workshop details.

Each month I hold a Card Workshop where I show you how to assemble 3 cards. We'll cut, paste, stamp and more! I also like to incorporate a tip or technique so that you can learn something new to use on your own projects at home. I now have a stamp set available for you to use so that you can customize the sentiments on your cards (ie: get well; congratulations; thinking of you; etc.). The supply fee for the 3 cards is $10. You also have the option of purchasing the workshop kit (the December kit is pictured above) for $29.95 (+ tax & s/h) in which case I will waive the $10 supply fee because your supplies will be in your kit. The kits are a great deal because they include 22 sheets of 12 x 12 paper, an exclusive stamp set that is only available by ordering the kit, and a coordinating embellishment set. The kits also come with an instruction guide to help you complete additional cards or scrapbook layouts at home.

In addition, I also have a drawing for a prize at each workshop. For the December workshop I have a cute little stamp set that will be given away to drawing winner! Your name goes into the drawing once for RSVP'ing; another time for attending; and an additional time for bringing a new friend! The workshops are a lot of fun and I hope that everyone enjoys being creative and maybe learning something new in the process!

Twitterpated Layout

We made this layout during one of the creative sessions at the Portland Regional Celebration a few weeks ago. I love the colors! The pictures of my daughter at the park go really well with the Twitterpated paper. I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I held a workshop where we completed this layout? If you purchased the Twitterpated paper pack, then you would already have the paper needed. Let me know what you think!

Twitterpated Card Workshop This Friday!!

Just a reminder - this Friday, 11/13 will be the Twitterpated Card Workshop at 7:00 pm. We'll be using Liquid Glass to add dimension to the cards - you'll love it! I added a second table, so I have 4 more seats if you are interested! Hope to see you Friday!

So Many Projects, so little sleep!

Well I'm back from the CTMH Regional Celebration this past weekend. I flew home Sunday morning after spending 3 days in Portland, Oregon. I gathered a lot of information and made a lot of projects. Mostly cards, but also 2 layouts. I even won a couple of things! :) The thing I did not get was very much sleep! So I am completely exhausted!!

As part of our registration, we received a great tote bag with lots of pockets for scrapping supplies. I used it a lot during the creative sessions. We also received 4 stamp sets, which we used a lot to make the various projects. In addition, we were given an entire Sweet Home Paper Pack! We made a 2 page layout from a few papers in this kit. I'm hoping to get some pictures uploaded over the next few days of the projects we made.

I'm anticipating coming back with lots of exciting things to tell about, so check out my blog over the next few weeks as I share my experiences & artwork!

I'll also see some of you at the card workshop next Friday, November 13th at 7:00 pm. Let me know if you'd like to come - I still have some open spots!

November Stamp of the Month

This month's Stamp of the Month is a very cute house set that I've seen make some very cute projects! Click here to see a cute project by Lisa Stenz using this set, and then follow the blog hop to see many more projects! I love how creative my fellow consultants are! I thought this set was cute the first time I saw it, but after following the blog hop I fell in love with it! You will too!
